Puppy training

A$70

Bringing a puppy home is exciting, and it can also be a lot. Puppy training with us starts at your place, because that is where your pup is learning what is normal, from the front door to the kitchen floor. We work on the basics together: toilet routines, settling in a crate or bed, gentle handling, a first sit and coming when called. We also talk through the everyday moments that shape behaviour, like greetings at the gate and quiet time after play. This service suits families, first-time owners and anyone who wants to start well before habits set in. Each visit ends with a short plan you can follow, so progress continues between sessions and the whole household is on the same page.

  • Good habits built in your own home from day one
  • Toilet, settling and handling covered together
  • A simple plan the whole family can follow

Leash skills

A$85

If walks feel like a tug of war, leash skills are where we start. We meet you at home and head out on your usual route, whether that is a quiet street, a busy footpath or the local park, because that is where the pulling actually happens. You will learn how to hold the lead, when to reward, and how to handle distractions like other dogs, bikes and passers-by. Your dog learns that walking near you is the easy, pleasant option. This suits dogs of any age who pull, lunge or zigzag, and owners who want to enjoy the walk again. We keep the steps simple so you can practise on your own between visits, and we adjust the plan as your dog improves.

  • Training on the streets and parks you actually walk
  • Calm handling of dogs, bikes and passers-by
  • Steps you can practise on every daily walk

Recall session

A$90

A reliable recall gives your dog more freedom and gives you peace of mind. Our recall session starts at home, where there are few distractions and your dog can learn that coming back is always worth it. Once that is solid, we move to your backyard, then to a quiet oval or beach, building up step by step. You will learn how to use your voice, timing and rewards so the word you choose actually means something. This suits young dogs learning the cue for the first time and older dogs who come when it suits them. We also cover long lines, what to do when your dog ignores you, and how to keep recall strong on everyday walks around Sydney.

  • Starts indoors, then builds up to parks and beaches
  • Clear timing and rewards so your cue means something
  • Long line and off-lead steps explained plainly
